Dr. Lederman is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with an avid interest in the field of nutrition and lifestyle medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at The University of Michigan where he graduated with distinction. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree at Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. After initially practicing as a hospital-based Internist, Dr. Lederman quickly switched his direction towards the field of nutrition and lifestyle medicine, having had the honor of learning from some of the greats in this field.


Dr. Lederman has been seeking to change the way chronic illness is treated, with an emphasis on medication elimination and disease reversal through diet and lifestyle change. Since 2006 he has been the official correspondent for all of the medical, nutrition, and lifestyle questions for the popular RAVE diet website link, “Ask Dr. Matt.” Dr. Lederman is also a physician featured in the film “Healing Cancer,” promoting the benefits of nutrition and lifestyle changes on cancer. Most recently, Dr. Lederman has lectured for Cornell’s Certificate Program in Plant Based Nutrition, created by T. Colin Campbell, the author of The China Study. Currently, his work at Exsalus Health & Wellness Center. involves educating patients about these diet and lifestyle changes, as well as supporting and encouraging people to take advantage of their body’s natural ability to heal itself. His passion is not only enlightening patients with this essential information, but also ensuring that they achieve their goals while empowering them with the skills necessary to maintain their momentum and success.

Dr. Pulde is a pioneer in the current health care system as she unites two powerful and synergistic healing approaches – the technological skill of Western Medicine with the ancient wisdom of Chinese Medicine. She currently specializes in the field of nutrition and lifestyle medicine.  Focusing on being a patient advocate, she educates patients on their particular medical concerns, assists them in recognizing the obstacles that have been standing in their way, and works with them to overcome these hurdles on their path to achieving optimum health. This includes but is not limited to helping patients reverse disease, eliminate the need for medications, lose weight, and attain the vitality they desire to live the happy and healthy life they deserve. 


Dr. Pulde received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College and her Masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College. After finishing her Internship in Family Practice and securing her California state medical license, she has been working to integrate the best of both fields in her practice. This unique foundation offers patients a truly holistic approach to their health care. Dr. Pulde is excited to share this wealth of knowledge and experience with patients at Exsalus Health & Wellness Center.
